This week in content marketing: Digiday award winners

This week in content marketing, we share our favorite winners from this week’s Digiday Content Marketing Awards.

Best in showHP and creative agency Giant Spoon not only picked up the Best Branded Content Series award for their online video series, The Wolf, the campaign also won Digiday’s Best in Show prize.

Possibly taking a cue from Breaking In, his short-lived TV show about a high-tech security firm, The Wolf stars Christian Slater as a hacker who uses insecure printers to disrupt businesses. The videos have racked up millions of YouTube views and brought a drab security topic to glamorous life.

Moment to remember The award for Best Content Marketing Agency went to Moment Studio for its work delivering quality, effective content for a range of clients. Some of the New York-based agency’s recent highlights include using a “cup-cam” to capture people drinking Nespresso in a parking lot at SXSW Interactive and the videos of cute kids dancing and telling stories about bananas that drove sales for Chiquita.

You up? Insomniacs usually just have TV for company in those tiring and tiresome wee small hours. That is until bedding brand Casper invented a messenger bot, Insomnobot 3000, with whom insomniacs can text and have someone to chat with until they finally fall asleep.

This smart and funny app saw the firm (mattress) win Best Content Marketing Tech Platform.
