Friday’s favorite things: March 4th

March 4, 2016

Every Friday we round up some of our favorite finds on the web, from illustrations and videos to fonts and photography. This week, we enjoyed painstaking pointillism paintings.

The dot-father
Miguel Endara is an extremely talented artist in Miami, Florida with immaculate dot work. He spent 210 hours forming 3.2 million dots into this stunning print of his “Hero,” his father.

All along the dots-tower
UK based artist, Lex Wilson, is a self-certified ‘Typography Nut’ who loves creating engaging art work that resists immediate comprehension. That’s pretty evident when you look at this Jimi Hendrix piece he created using only ink dots.

Point of view
Pablo Jurado Ruiz is an expert in pointillism from Málaga, Spain, whose art tells stories of his experiences and surroundings. Check out how his impeccable detail brings this piece to life.
