Every Friday we round up some of our favorite finds on the web, from illustrations and videos to fonts and photography. Being based in the Bay Area, we’re now obsessed with the summer fog that rolls in from the sea every day, so this week we enjoyed photos with obscured views.

Fade to grey
San Francisco-born photographer Adrian Sky embraces the void with this dramatic depiction of a disappearing Golden Gate Bridge, which he calls Fade to fog.

Peak fog
Toby Harriman moved to San Francisco from Colorado where his intended career as a designer was overtaken by a love of photography. He documented the changes wrought by his adopted city in a wonderful photo essay, which includes this spectacular fog-bound scene taken from across the bay on Berkeley’s Grizzly Peak.

Swiss sea
Just to prove that we know San Francisco isn’t the only place in the world that does fabulous fog, here’s Reuter’s photojournalist Denis Balibouse’s epic image of a sea of fog over Lake Leman in Switzerland.
