Friday’s favorite things: December 18th

Colm Larkin

December 18, 2015

This week, we continued Hightail’s 12 Days of Christmas – a special selection of festive illustrations, videos, photography, typography and much more. Here’s a short round up of some of our favorite finds from the past five days. To see all our holiday picks, check out #HT12Days.

If you’d like your work to be featured, share it with us here.

Once upine a time
We love this Christmas tree made of books, created by the Limehouse branch (no pun intended) of Oldham Libraries in the UK. Looks like James Patterson books make the best tree-building material.

Kidstableandia
We’re love Portlandia duo Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein. So two minutes of them being funny in this Old Navy ad by NYC agency Chandlier Creative was always going to be our favorite ad of the holiday season.

Christmas Moran
Not only does one of our favorite illustrators, Kevin Moran, draw some pretty pictures in this e-card, he also creates a fantastic font to pass on his season’s greetings.
