Friday’s favorite things: October 9th

October 9, 2015

Every Friday we round up some of our favorite finds on the web, from illustrations and videos to fonts and photography. This week, we joined in the Inktober fun – the month-long challenge for artists and illustrators to create one new ink drawing a day.

Sky city
Inktober founder Jake Parker sets the bar high with this fantastic comic book scene. The level of detail is incredible for what’s supposed to be a quick sketch.

P-ink
Rhode Island-based illustrator, Nicholas Kole kicked off his Inktober in style with this sketch of “my usual troubled-old-men”.

Lost
Freelance artist, Amanda MacFarlane tells beautiful stories with her pen, like this poignant scene that she calls Lost.
