Friday’s favorite things: October 16th

Every Friday we round up some of our favorite finds on the web, from illustrations and videos to fonts and photography. This week, we’re getting our post-season game on with some baseball-themed design and illustration.

Pearls of wisdom
The recently deceased Yogi Berra became as well known for his way with words as his ability at the plate. Designer, Brian Lindstrom, captured some of these modern aphorisms in this fantastic print, which is part of his Bases Loaded series. Brian is exhibiting his baseball-themed work at Carroll University in Wisconsin thoughout November.

Fly ball
Luke Bott knocked it out of the park with this dynamic drawing custom created for a recent Hightail marketing campaign.

Cub couture
Elias Stein designed this t-shirt to celebrate the Cubs reaching this season’s playoff. If they make it past the Mets, you’ll want to be seen wearing it.
